When I received the package, I thought these were going to fail. Everything seems pretty, colors, solids and open - but I wasn't convinced that these would work. I was making a jumpsuit for my 3 month old - What do you know? These worked out great! They are sturdy and super easy to apply with the tool. The jumpsuit turned out great - I would totally purchase again and recommend to others.

Instructions were a bit confusing to me, but once I figured it out, it was so easy to use! Love the color options.

The product is as described. This is my first time using anything like this. The instructions are easy to follow but a little trial and error was needed to figure out which side of the female snap needed to be up in the pliers. No reusing the snap pieces once the prongs are bent. I have been able to get it to work perfectly. Longevity of snaps unknown. My project used 2-3 layers of material and interface and it does not work with too much thickness.

I've never used this kind of tool before so it took me a couple of tries to get it right. But once I figured it out it goes smoothly and the snaps work perfectly.

This kit has everything organized really well, the pliers, the snaps, and a little thimble all have their own spot so nothing gets lost or mixed up in the box. You get 200 sets in 7 different colors which is a lot of options for whatever you're working on, plus they're a nice sturdy metal instead of plastic so they don't feel cheap or flimsy.

Using the tool took a little practice at first, getting the snap positioned right in the pliers took a couple tries to figure out, but once I got the hang of it they've been going on smoothly. Just a heads up that once you bend the prongs on a snap you can't reuse that piece if you mess it up, so it helps to go slow the first few times until you're comfortable with it.

The value is where this kit really shines. With 200 sets included, there's plenty of room to learn, make mistakes, and experiment without worrying about running out. If you're anything like me, you'll inevitably install a few backwards or misalign a couple while figuring things out, and it's nice knowing you still have more than enough left for the final project.
